College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences: Driving Directions

These directions are designed to get you to the College offices in Cox Hall from either I-40 or I-440 - Raleigh Beltline. There are other routes you may take. We consider these to be the easiest. Click here for a map of NC State's North Campus. Should you require additional information or assistance, please call the PAMS Dean's Office.

From the West (I-40)

Take I-40 EAST to Exit 289 (Wade Avenue).

After approximately 4 miles, turn RIGHT onto Faircloth Street.

Turn LEFT onto Hillsborough Street.

Turn RIGHT onto Enterprise Street/Watauga Club Drive (just before the NC State Belltower).

Take first LEFT to continue on Watauga Club Drive.

Turn RIGHT onto Pullen Road.

Bear RIGHT onto Stinson Drive at the traffic circle and proceed to the Information Booth.

If you have a parking permit reserved in your name, it will be available for you at the Information Booth. If not, you will be directed to public parking.

The PAMS Dean’s Office is located in 116 Cox Hall, near the intersection of Stinson Drive and Yarbrough Drive.

From the East (I-40)

Take I-40 WEST to Exit 295 (Gorman Street).

Turn RIGHT onto Gorman Street.

Turn RIGHT onto Avent Ferry Road.

Turn RIGHT onto Western Boulevard.

Turn LEFT onto Pullen Road.

3/4 around traffic circle, bear RIGHT onto Stinson Drive and proceed to the Information Booth.

If you have a parking permit reserved in your name, it will be available for you at the Information Booth. If not, you will be directed to public parking.

From I-440 - Raleigh Beltline

Take I-440 EAST or WEST to Exit 2A (Western Boulevard East ramp toward Downtown Raleigh/NC State University).

Merge onto Western Boulevard and continue for approximately 2.1 miles.

Turn LEFT onto Pullen Road.

3/4 around traffic circle, bear RIGHT onto Stinson Drive and proceed to the Information Booth.
