PAMS 2009-2010 Pride of the Wolfpack Award
 
The Pride of the Wolfpack Award Program is an “on the spot” award designed to recognize fellow employees within our College for special or unique contributions to the College, their Unit or the University. The program is coordinated by the Benefits Department, in the Office of Human Resources and supported through the generous sponsorship of the NC State Bookstore. The program recognizes both SPA and EPA employees, but not temporary or student employees. The criteria for nominations, selection of recipients and delivery of awards are coordinated and administered by the College administration. A specified number of awards will be available to PAMS, according to the number of employees in the College, and awards will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Each award is given to an individual employee, not a group or team. For all members of a group or team to receive an award, each member needs to be nominated individually.

Examples of award criteria can include any of the following:

• Leadership on the job
• Customer focus
• Business results
• Quality of service
• Cost effectiveness
• Delivery of service to students, staff and/or alumni
• Quantity/Quality of work over period of time
• Relationships fostered at work

For the selected recipients, an award certificate and wooden frame from the NC State Bookstore will be presented. The certificate and frame will be delivered to the appropriate supervisor who will be responsible for presenting it to the employee.

To nominate an eligible employee, please go to the University nomination form here, and remember to select the College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences before submitting the nomination. Nominations will be approved by the Dean and a notification form will be sent to Human Resources to advise of the award selection.

Nominations are now being accepted and everyone is encouraged to participate. The program will be administered through March 31, 2010. All awards are to be delivered by April 30, 2010.
