Welcome!!!
The College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at North Carolina State University and its neighboring community have developed a partnership to provide third, fourth, fifth, and sixth graders hands-on activities in science and mathematics. The Summer Program is based on the College's Imhotep Academy and is located at Southeast Raleigh Center for Community Health and Development.
All of the Kyran Anderson Academy programming is designed to enhance a student’s enthusiasm for science and mathematics. The program demonstrates science and mathematics can be fun and are important to everyday life. In particular, the program provides students with role models in the teachers and teachers’ assistants. The curricular material features the contributions of scientists and inventors from underrepresented groups.
